The story

I’ve always loved building things. Working as an auto mechanic was an early outlet, and it taught me tools as second nature and a habit of understanding how a whole system moves before touching any part of it. I went into medicine from automotives so I could use those same skills to help improve people’s lives in a more impactful way.

We’ll go through your imaging together.

Many patients will tell me their pain is well controlled. Then it comes out that they’ve stopped participating in life to keep it that way. Fear of surgery pushes people to cut back on activity until the pain feels manageable. What they don’t realize is what it costs: function, strength, and flexibility, all of which become increasingly difficult to regain as we age. Addressed at the appropriate time, recovery is expected to be quick, predictable, and last for a lifetime.

What I do

01

Hip and knee replacement

I plan your primary replacement around your specific anatomy and how you actually live. The surgical plan is built for you. The recovery protocols are evidence-based and proven.

02

Revision and complex cases

Revision and complex reconstruction. Cases that can take two or three times the length of a standard replacement. I spent the last five years as a University surgeon doing exactly these, and part of that experience is knowing when more surgery may not be the answer.

03

Your hip and knee aren’t generic

Your specific anatomy, your alignment, your goals. I measure the joint in front of me and plan to it, because the best joint replacement is the one you don’t think about.

“My goal is simple, but not easy: to make sure none of my patients get left behind in the name of averages.”

Off the clock

Choosing a surgeon is personal. So I’d rather you knew the person.

I’m a Christian, a husband, and a father of three. Weekends are family, church, and whatever is up on the jack stands in the garage.

If you come in, you’ll meet me, not a coordinator with my name on a badge.
